This was a 40th birthday present from my husband. I loved every minute of it and it fascinates my 5 year old daughter (we added in her Gabby's Dollhouse lego mermaid Gabby for extra fun). It's an amazing set. Everyone who has seen it has been wowed.

As the title suggests this is an amazing set. I’ll address the price first, yes it’s expensive in comparison to others and was something I debated in the run up to the release, however once built and on display this set is worth every penny. It’s big, bright and beautiful I absolutely love it. The detail is brilliant and the moving functions work well, the frame for the tank completes this for me, adds to that nostalgic feeling of the set. The build was enjoyable and didn’t find any part of it ‘to’ repetitive. Would 100% recommend this set and is definitely in the top three of all the sets that I own.

I think this is one of the best sets ever. I am very satisfied and I understand why the set is at this price. Excellent job designers! There are so many movable parts in this set that it is amazing- the crab popping out of the cave, the chest opening and closing, a fish swimming etc. so those that did not buy the set and write reviews solely based on the price should first check and investigate a bit more before complaining. I can imagine the immense work hours invested by the designers… Really fun set and I recommend to those who can afford it. After all LEGO is the Lamborghini of constructors 😉 - quality and style!
